Taya's 3rd Birthday

Taya is really excited that she turned 3! She loves DORA and loved her DORA CAKE. She wanted me to do her hair for her birthday like Grandma always does Ry's because she is older now. So the hair is for Grandma. (and now Ry knows I can do it). Christa came over and had cake with us. The girls loved it. We had a family party it was nice. She was really happy.

Dance!!!

Rylee had her last day of dance yesterday! She loves ballet and shows Taya all her moves in prep. for Taya's first year in the fall. It is fun that she has taken the last two years with her friend Pasiley.

A few more...

Taya loves Walker!!!

We have discovered that Walker loves water from a cup!!! It is really cute to see the faces he makes when the cold water drips down his neck.

Walker's First Hair Cut!

Here is the before and after of Walker's 1st hair cut @ 7 1/2 months old. As you can see he was sporting quite the do! Notice the hair starting to grow over the ears. Eric finally agreed to a little trim. I was a little nervous to cut it especially since he can't sit still for more that 2 seconds. I think it looks pretty good, Walker seems to like it (he was an angel today). Amy and Auntie Leah just don't look too close.

Train Bridge!!!

The kids weren't feeling good today but after being inside all day we decided to go for a drive. (To kill sometime before bed) We drove down to the river to the Train bridge, we took Rylee down last summer but Taya was too little to remember. Rylee is kinda like her Mom not to fond of heights but we convinced her to climb the stairs to the top. Rylee, Walker and I were following Eric and Taya. The entire time walking the stairs (which you could see right through) Rylee was really nervous. Taya kept telling us the entire way up that she was really brave, over and over again. Once we reached the top Taya wanted to cross the bridge. Which I think is really scary since it is wooden boards which you can see through. Rylee and I made it 1/4 of the way and then turned back, but Taya and Eric kept going all the way to the middle. I love the view from the top of the bridge, Saskatoon is really cold in the winter but is really beautiful in the summer. I just hope that I am never up on the bridge when a train crosses because I would probably have a heart attack. Ash and Justin I hope this brings back good memories!!!

May Long Weekend!

Saturday was beautiful! We went to a friends and the kids played in the water. The had a blast.

BIKES...

the girls have been waiting all winter for this!

Spring is Finally Here!

Walker enjoying the warm weather. It was really nice today so we went for a walk. Taya and Walker were in the stroller. Ry pretty much ran the entire time to keep up to her mom. (2.5km) She was wore out by the time she got home. Walker had never felt grass, but unlike my other kids he didn't cry when he touch it.

Two Weeks To Go!!!

We are now on the countdown! Eric has two weeks left of his 3rd year, a total of 11 finals! 2 down and 9 more to go. He continues to amaze me, how he functions on only a few hours of sleep. We wish him the best of luck!!! We had COMPANY!!! It doesn't happen very often, so we are excited when family comes way out here to see us. We were sad to see Grandma and Grandpa leave on Sunday, we had a lot of fun. We shopped of course, had a small early birthday party for Taya, and the kids had fun playing. We wish that they could of stayed longer or at least take a few with them. (But you know Grandpa...) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for coming to visit. Iwish I had Birthday Pictures to post but the Birthday Girl had a rough day(she fell down a few stares and scraped her nose and cheek on the cement) and was not posing for the camera. We will take some on her actual birthday! I still have one request from the birthday girl: A DORA CAKE.
