THE END IS IN SIGHT!

Summer flew by and Eric has already been back in classes for two days. So the countdown is on only 8 more months. We are looking forward to moving closer to home. Eric promised the girls two years ago that when he graduates they could each get a dog. They have faith that their Dad will pull through for them. Rylee starts her second year of Kindergarden next week, and she is really excited that this year she gets to ride the bus. Both girls start Ballet, and Rylee is starting piano. My maternity leave ended at the beginning of August so I have been picking up shifts on Peds and in the NICU. This year will keep us really busy, so I am sure it will go by fast. We are looking forward to hopefully seeing family come our way at Thanksgiving! And of course the beach at Christmas. Walker still hasn't hit any real big milestones. He is extremely grouchy thanks to the four teeth he has coming in a once. He started to pull him self up on things, but prefers Rylee to walk him around. He just learned how to dance it is fun to watch and laugh. I took the girls and him to get a hair cut the other day. He screamed through the entire thing, I felt bad for the hairdresser. It was worth it, he is starting to look like a little toddler and is so handsome. Pictures to come soon.

Camping at Waskesiu Lake

Yes I went camping! We camped over night at Waskesiu Lake in the PA National Park. The girls thought it was great. I thought it was a lot of work, but we did have a fun time. Thanks Becky and Armes for the invite. Becky was a good sport seeing that she was 8 mos. pregnant, and the second day it was 37 degrees. Walker and I slept in the back of the van after playing musical beds. I was happy that I had the idea of getting the closest camp site to the bathroom. (between me and four little bladders we were making the short walk a lot) They are drinking hot choc. that Eric made them. We roasted hot dogs for supper (the classic camping meal) and for dessert smores. We forgot our tarp so we shared the Perrett's! We were very close almost like we were in the same room with a just sheet between us. Good thing we are good friends.
The kids thought it was funny to make faces at Eric video taping them. They always have so much fun when they are together. Ry and Rue seem to have this bond from birth. They are 10 days apart, and when Rylee was ten months old Becky baby sat her for me when I went back to work. Taya and Briggs are three weeks apart. We were actually due on the same day, but I had Taya 2 weeks early and Briggs was a week over due.

Waskesiu Lake! The kids had fun on the beach and playing in the water. Rylee could walk probably half way out with her head above water.
Walker wouldn't look at the camera, he played in the sand and water for probably an hour. A true boy.

Annual Fishing Trip with Dad & Grandpa.

Rylee and Taya fishing! Taya got a new rod for her birthday from Rylee in preparation for this trip. The lake they are at is Alderson (not sure on spelling), and Rylee rode her own horse (velvet), Taya rode with Eric. They even were caught in a lightning storm and had to wait it out under a big tree. Rylee is so proud of that story, she was even telling her friend Alivia today.
This was Taya's first year. She woke up at 4:30 am and was sooo excited! Being able to go with Dad meant that he thought she was a big girl. These are the horses! They both have a love for horses, which comes from there Dad. Rylee can't wait till she gets her own hat and boots like Bailey. She also keeps telling everyone that her, Taya and Eric are riding in the Cardston parade next year.

How Summer Flies By...

We spent most of our summer in the car! They were not always this good so we had to take a picture. Walker set the record on one of our trips home by only sleeping for a 1/2 hr. These are the moments most parents treasure while travelling.
Rylee and Taya went to Calaway Park with Eric and Grandma & Grandpa Nelson. They had so much fun. The girls take after Eric and love rides!!! I on the other had hand hate them; Walker and I spent the day at the mall. Not sure what Grandpa is looking at!!!!
Walker has no hope having two older sister's, but he thought that these were great! He had them on for quite a while.
Taya didn't enjoy this ride that much! Eric was proud of her from even wanting to go on it. Rylee loved it!
The girls had so much fun! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for coming.
